KitBash Acquires ArtStation and Sketchfab: Integrating the Artistic Creation Ecosystem

KitBash has officially acquired ArtStation and Sketchfab from Epic Games, bringing these two major art platforms under the same umbrella as KitBash3D and Greyscalegorilla. This acquisition promises to maintain existing portfolios, libraries, subscriptions, and core workflows unchanged. Epic Games is shifting its focus towards Unreal Engine 6, Fortnite, and the Epic Games Store. KitBash's co-CEO, Banks Boutté, emphasized that ArtStation and Sketchfab have long been essential platforms for artists to share their work, find inspiration, and connect with each other. The acquisition is seen as an opportunity to provide more comprehensive support for artists throughout the creative process, from learning techniques to publishing their work.
